Back some time in 2002 this site popped up as a portfolio for my new budding hobby: photography. This is somewhere between the 6th and 10th iteration of the site and the first time the site hasn't been powered by a homegrown PHP solution. Instead, it's powered by Movable Type 4 (Open Source Edition). While the photographs have changed and love for photography has matured the site's original purpose remains: taking a photograph that no one will ever see simply makes no sense.

About nontent

A nickname I earned after perpetual site redesigns still lead to no additional new content. I'm currently a full time student at UC Berkeley pursuing Cognitive Science. I've got too many hobbies and devote far less time to each than I could. I purchased my first camera back in late 2000 and migrated to digital photography in late 2005.

I exist elsewhere on the net, usually with the username nontent.

About the photography

The most common question asked of me is what photography equipment I routinely use to take my photographs. I never know whether or not to include a list of equipment on this site and have opted out in the past iteration or two. However, it seems it's of enough interest to warrant putting it back in.
