This is 45 minutes of serious fucking electro house. Saw waves grinding up against filters like there's no tomorrow. Melodies? Sometimes. Consistent bass lines that'll blur your vision and knock the wind out of you with the right system. And seriously: This is supposed to be played three decibels below clipping on your speakers / headphones. You need to crank this to properly enjoy it.

This is a "faster" mix, also of about one hour in length (57:50). It's all progressive house / electro house. It's a very upbeat mix that doesn't have too much down time. I haven't the faintest idea of what to put here, to be honest. This, again, was more of a spontaneous mix that I didn't really plan. As before, it is not broken down into individual tracks and is instead a seamless one hour mp3. Download and enjoy it, I dare you.

This mix starts off slower and builds up to the some of the faster songs I'm currently enjoying. I made this mix and the LOL Music one only a few days apart, so there is some song overlap between the two. However, I love the songs to death so I don't see why you shouldn't too. Progressive House Mix 1 (60:30)

This is the first mix (of many more, I hope!) that I'm posting. It's a progressive house mix that's a bit more towards the mellow side. Most of the tracks are more melodic, and I feel it's more suited towards later in the evening listening. I start off with a goofy song that I personally enjoy, and go from there. It was a completely spontaneous mix, but I enjoy how it turned out. I do not have it broken into individual tracks, but you can find the track listing below.

AIDS LifeCycle

On June 1st 2008 I'll begin a 545 mile journey from San Francisco to Los Angeles. On my bike.

I'll be riding with over 2000 other riders and we're raising money to help fight the AIDS epidemic. My goal is to raise $2,500 to help benefit people afflicted by AIDS in San Francisco. All of the funds raised go directly to the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.

Movable Type - It Lives!

Welcome to somewhere between the 6th and 10th iteration of nontent.net. I honestly can't remember the exact number - but this release is the first version where things aren't powered by a home grown PHP system. Instead I've opted to switch to Movable Type.

The site has been broken down into four sections. Words, Visual, Audio, and About. An astute observer of past iterations of my site may notice that both the link and ramblebox sections are currently gone. As for the links page - none of those links had been checked since 2004. I, sadly, have no clue what sites are linking back to me anymore. I removed the Ramblebox because Movable Type has better commenting and anti-spam code than I ever did. I will be attempting to forge new affiliate links to get some traffic flowing through here at some later point.

With this launch I've posted a bunch of new photographs. I've added two new categories of photography - Cycling and Creatures. I like bikes and I like taking photos of bikes. The creatures category exists for similar reasons.

The next project in the works is some manner of photo blog - I'm undecided as to whether to add it as a page to this layout or create a new layout for the blog. When it launches I'll update here. If you have a preference feel free to comment.
